OUR STORY

It started with one conversation.

A client told us how his father, living with Alzheimer’s, showed meaningful improvement after therapeutic plasma exchange. But the treatment was far away and cost a minimum of $7,000 per session. For most families, that is out of reach.

So we asked: why not bring this to Metro Detroit and make it affordable? Our team already performs TPE in hospital settings. The expertise was already here. What was missing was access.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Janet Eng, DO

Dr. Eng has pursued advanced training in personalized, functional, and age-management medicine through organizations including USF Morsani College of Medicine, A4M, AMMG, and IFM. Her background in individualized medicine and whole-person wellness informs her approach to therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE), a procedure that removes circulating substances from the plasma, including targeted toxins. She integrates this specialized therapy into a broader, personalized approach to patient care.

At Renew TPE, Dr. Eng provides clinical oversight to support safe, consistent treatment protocols aligned with established apheresis standards and individualized patient needs. She supports communication between the clinical team and referring physicians to promote coordinated care, appropriate treatment planning, and patient safety.
